This developer is characterised by very good edge sharpness and good use of the film's sensitivity.
The contrast of the subject is influenced by the dilution. It is used by diluting one part developer with 25 or 50 parts water.
It can also be much more diluted, in the context of stand development (it is then diluted 1+100 or even 1+200), which gives this developer a very important compensating effect and maximum exploitation of the sensitivity.
Rodinal can be kept for a very long time in concentrated solution. On the other hand, once diluted, it need to be used quickly, in a lost bath.Rodinal original formula!
